Academic Skills Assessment

Accuplacer™

The Accuplacer™ Computerized Placement Test is required of all students who have not completed a college level English or Math class prior to enrolling in San Juan College. The test is offered on computer in the Counseling Center between 8am-3pm, Monday-Friday. An appointment is not required. A counselor reviews test results with each student before they are remitted to the student.

Departmental Skills Assessments

•  The Nursing program currently requires completion of the ATI-TEAS Pre-RN Exam.  The next testing period will be Fall 2009.  Dates will be posted as they are available.  Please click here for more information about the exam.   

•  The Physical Therapist Assistant program currently requires completion of the PSB-HOAE.  This test is given year-round, however, you must complete testing by August 1st in order to be considered for Spring entrance into the PTA program.  To access the PSB website, click here.  Instructions for testing can be found by following the links below.
