NMTA Test Preparation Workshop

Want to teach? Get ready for the NMTA!

This class is designed to teach you how to prepare for the NMTA Basic Skills Test. It can also help you prepare for any of the “high stakes” education tests. We will focus on procedures, test taking strategies, tips and pointers and even deal with specific ways to counter test anxiety. You will walk away with knowledge of resources to choose from. You will actually practice your test taking skills by taking our NMTA Sampler test in a lab setting during class.

Passing the New Mexico Teacher Assessment Basic Skills Test (NMTA) is a state requirement for teacher certification. This Prep Workshop is offered a month before the actual state test so that you have plenty of time to put what you learn in the workshop to good use before you actually take the test.
