Surgical Technology ProgramA surgical technolog San Juan College offers a Surgical Technology Program leading to an associate of applied science degree. Students who complete all program requirements are eligible to sit for national examinations required for certification. If you have a desire to help people, interest in health care and want to be involved in the operating room then you should apply!

ist (ST) is a professional who works as part of the surgical team to ensure that operative procedures are conducted under optimal conditions. ST’s work closely with surgeons, operating room nurses, and anesthesiologists to ensure the best practices in patient care. Surgical technologists work under medical supervision to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.
