About The Health and Human Performance Center

The Health and Human Performance Center (HHPC) is a 130,000 square foot facility opened in December 2000 and includes a Fitness Conditioning Center (FCC), a 6,000 square foot climbing tower, an indoor elevated track, a three court gymnasium, dance studio, group exercise studio, an assessment lab, a wellness resource center, and an outdoor equipment rental center.

Fitness Conditioning Center

The Fitness Conditioning Center (FCC) is a state of the art work-out facility.  Our one-stop exercise shop features a variety of free weight, weight stack, circuit, and cardiovascular equipment designed to promote total body fitness.

Gymnasium & Indoor Track

The indoor track is located on the upper level in the gymnasium. This olympic quality surface is ideal for walkers and runners alike (Nine laps equal one mile). Adults and children 10 years of age and older can use the indoor track during regular Health and Human Performance Center hours. Children under the age of 10 are welcome, but adult supervision is required.

Indoor Climbing Wall

San Juan College’s indoor climbing wall has 6,000 square feet of climbing surface and features 17 top rope stations, 12 lead climbing routes, 2 roofs, a running crack, and a 600 square foot bouldering cave. The climbing wall routes are designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced climbers. Our professional climbing staff will ensure a fun and safe time for all participants!
