Native Studies

The San Juan College Associates of Arts (AA) degree in Native Studies is designed for students who intend to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree. It also prepares you for future work in education,
community outreach, human services, indigenous rights, government, museums, state or national parks, and tribal parks.

Those wishing to transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution to pursue a degree in Native Studies are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and coordinate their coursework at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution.
