Torince Tanner has been awarded the 2023 Trustees' Scholarship.
The San Juan College Foundation is proud to introduce our 2023 Trustees’ Scholar, Torince Tanner! This scholarship includes housing, meal plan, tuition, fees and a book stipend. Tori is our second recipient of the full-ride scholarship offered through the San Juan College Foundation. Tori wowed us with her application, essay and interview, and we can’t wait to have her at San Juan College!
“I’m a family-oriented entrepreneur on a mission to make a positive impact in people’s lives,” says Tori. She stays busy managing the social media and marketing side of a local Real Estate Team, NM Dream House. In this capacity Tori combines her love for photography and videography to showcase each unique property and improve lives through Real Estate. When not behind the camera or at the office, you are most likely to find Tori seeking thrilling adventures under the sun, whether it’s camping, hiking, or paddle boarding.
Looking ahead to the future, Tori says, “I have big dreams of becoming a traveling missionary nurse, and I’m excited to share that I’ll be pursuing my education at SJC to make this dream a reality. I can’t wait to embark on this journey of learning and compassion.”
