New Mexico Gas Company’s Native American Scholarship Program awarded Edson Gray and Darrell Charles with scholarships.
Since 2011, the New Mexico Gas Company Native American Scholarship Program (NASP) has awarded $424,000 to 225 Native American students pursuing most any form of post-secondary education.
Two San Juan College students are recipients of the scholarship award for the 2023 academic year. Darrell Charles, an Air Force Veteran, and Edson Gray recently attended the NASP Awards Banquet in Albuquerque to receive their scholarships. SJC Veteran Center Coordinator Larry Finch also attended to show his support.
The New Mexico Gas Company’s Native American Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to Native American students in New Mexico who demonstrate a desire to engage in their future through continuing education.
Congratulations to Charles and Gray and thank you New Mexico Gas Company for supporting students at San Juan College and other New Mexico educational institutions.
