San Juan College (SJC) is pleased to announce that Velosolutions and American Ramp Company have started construction on the new pump track at the SJC Bike Park.
Construction is expected to last approximately 4-6 weeks. The Bike Park remains open, but the public is asked to please refrain from riding on the pump track until the construction is complete.
Location
The San Juan College Bike Park is located south of the main SJC campus and serves as another destination for outdoor recreation in the area. Pump tracks are used by bikers, skateboarders, and scooter riders of all skill levels for recreation and competitions.
The pump track and Bike Park enhancements are made possible by San Juan County voters, who approved funding in the November 2022 San Juan College Local Bond election.
“We are very thankful for the support of our community and voters in making this park a reality, as well as Farmington Area Single Track (F.A.S.T) who were instrumental in the planning process,” says Ed DesPlas, SJC Executive Vice President.
