Transforming Workforce Development in New Mexico

The HB2 – GROWTH Funding Program is funded by the New Mexico Higher Education Department and focuses on addressing the demand for a highly skilled workforce. By supporting education and training tied to certifications, apprenticeships, and skill development programs, the initiative aims to foster economic growth and enhance career opportunities for individuals across the state.

“With this funding, we’re able to provide New Mexico residents with unprecedented access to career-enhancing training,” said Dr. Lorenzo Reyes, Vice President of Workforce and Economic Development at San Juan College. “This program isn’t just about individual career growth—it’s about building a stronger workforce that meets the needs of our local industries and contributes to the economic health of our community. We’re excited to see the impact this will have on both our students and the regional economy.”
