Culinary and Hospitality Classes

Hone your cutting skills—safely. We’ll practice different cuts and techniques on a variety of vegetables and then send you home with the makings of a fine soup and new outlook on kitchen preparations.

Supply fee of $35 for knife, sharpening stone, cutting board and food payable to instructor at the first class. Please register by 11/10. Appropriate for minors ages 12-18 with an accompanying adult. 3 hrs

ServSafe is administered by the National Restaurant Association: “We understand the importance of our program in teaching and certifying responsible food service measures. We stay on top of the various and changing regulatory requirements for every state and ensure that our certifications will prepare you to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety.”

Upon completion of the class and a passing exam score of at least 75%, students will receive their ServSafe certification, good for 5 years. Class includes 2-day in-person instruction, current manual, and proctored exam.

Register by 8/26 as students will be given books ahead of time to prepare for class.

Appropriate for ages 17 and up.
